  • Sergio Jimenez is remembered as one of the national and international kart "Multi Champions", a record holder of titles such as six-time Brazilian Champion, nine-time Paulista Champion, three-time Brazil Cup Champion, North American Champion, Pan American Champion, among many others. He is also the first champion of Formula Renault Brazil, in 2002, with eight podiums in his debut in formula racing. In 2006, he had an outstanding performance in Europe racing in the Spanish F3. In the 2007 season, Jimenez emerged with memorable participations in the GP2 Series and the A1GP, representing the Brazilian team, led by Emerson Fittipaldi, two-times F-1 world champion. Jimenez debuted in the Brazilian Stock Car Light in 2009, winning a pole position, the fastest lap of the race and also earning the victory in his very first competition in touring car racing. He finished the season with the title of the revelation of the year in the category. In 2013 he joined the only and first 100% Brazilian team to compete in the FIA GT Series, and was teammate of the former F1 Ricardo Zonta. Jimenez is also a regular driver in the Stock Car in Brazil.
